Psychiatry Residency Program

The Valley Health System Psychiatry Residency Program is designed to provide residents with a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that prepares them for a successful career in the field of psychiatry. Our curriculum is designed to provide residents with a variety of experiences that includes a strong foundation in basic neuroscience and psychopharmacology, as well as exposure to a diverse range of patient populations and treatment modalities.

Through a combination of didactic instruction, clinical supervision, and hands-on experience, our residents are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to become effective and compassionate psychiatric clinicians.
